This privacy policy is applicable to the GUC Chat app for mobile devices, which was developed by Global Unichip Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service for corporate communication. This service is provided "AS IS".
1. What information does the Application obtain?
The Application acquires information to facilitate corporate communication and provide a secure environment for Global Unichip Corporation employees.
User Provided Information
- Account Information: Your name, corporate email address, and authentication credentials.
- User-Generated Content: Messages, images, videos, and files you send or upload within the chat platform.
- Contact Information: We may use your provided information to contact you regarding important service updates or required notices.
Automatically Collected Information
- The type of mobile device you use and its unique device ID.
- The IP address of your mobile device and your mobile operating system.
- Information about the way you use the Application (e.g., app interaction logs).
2. Device Permissions
To provide its core communication features, the Application requests the following permissions:
- Camera: Used to capture photos or videos to be sent in messages.
- Photo Library: Used to upload and share existing images or files with colleagues.
- Notifications: Used to provide real-time alerts for new messages.
- Device Identifier: Used to uniquely identify your device for secure authentication and notification routing.
Note on Location Information: The Application may access your location information solely for the purpose of including location data in photos captured or shared via the integrated image picker (geotagging). We do not track or store your device's real-time location for any other purposes.
3. Data Retention and Account Management
As GUC Chat is an enterprise communication tool, account lifecycle management is governed by Global Unichip Corporation's HR and IT policies.
- Automatic Deletion: Upon an employee's resignation or termination, the associated account and its sensitive personal data will be automatically queued for deletion in accordance with internal corporate regulations.
- Manual Deletion Request: Users who wish to request the deletion of their account or specific personal data prior to resignation may do so by submitting a request to the IT Service Desk or contacting the Service Provider via email at mobile.app@guc-asic.com.
- Business Records: Certain communication data (such as messages in public channels) may be retained as part of corporate records as required by business necessity or legal obligations.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service or to provide the Service on our behalf. These third parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): We use FCM to provide real-time push notifications. FCM processes device identifiers and notification tokens to ensure reliable message delivery. For more information, please visit Google's Privacy Policy.
5. Information Security
The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information. Access is limited to authorized employees and contractors who need the information to operate or improve the Application.
6. Content Moderation and Reporting
Users can report inappropriate content by contacting the IT administrator or HR department directly within the application. The Service Provider reserves the right to moderate and remove content that violates internal corporate regulations.
7. Changes to this Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating this page. Continued use of the Application is deemed approval of all changes.

由於 GUC Chat 為企業工具,帳號管理遵循 創意電子 HR 與 IT 部門之規範:
- 自動刪除:員工離職時,關聯之帳號及個人敏感資料將依照公司內部規章與資料保留政策,自動進入刪除程序。
- 手動刪除請求:使用者若需在離職前請求刪除帳號或特定個人資料,可透過 IT Service Desk 提交申請,或聯繫服務提供者 (mobile.app@guc-asic.com)。
- 業務記錄保留:請注意,部分通訊資料(如公開頻道的訊息)可能基於業務必要性或法律義務,作為企業記錄予以保留。
4. 第三方服務提供者
我們可能聘請第三方公司或個人來協助提供服務或代表我們提供服務。這些第三方僅在代表我們執行特定任務時才能存取您的個人資料,且義務不將其揭露或用於任何其他目的。
